This course is located on a nearby island, the Porto Santo Golf Course has been designed by the champion golfer, Severiano Ballesteros. The course comprises of two circuits with of 9 holes making a par-72. There is also a Pitch and Put par-3 holes with night lighting. This combination offers a golfer the option to play one and a half hour circuits. Spectacular views, the breeze of the ocean, contact with untouched nature, great weather throughout the year, friendly inhabitants, great Portuguese food, all these factors and much more, make of this golf course a must during the whole year. A second phase is in construction which will include a further complete 18-hole course. It is being developed on land to the north of Ana Ferreira Peak and will also comprise 8 Tennis Courts and a Horse Riding Centre.
